During its nearly seven decades of existence, Construtora Norberto Odebrecht (CNO) has diversified its areas of operation within the Engineering and Construction segment and launched projects in some 35 countries. In 2009, the company underwent a process of restructurization. Its six vice presidencies at the time were dismembered into independent businesses:

• Odebrecht Energia
• Odebrecht Engenharia Industrial
• Odebrecht Infraestrutura
• Odebrecht América Latina e Angola
• Odebrecht Venezuela
• Odebrecht International

The autonomy proved important for streamlining client assistance and the elaboration of projects. Each of these companies carries with it the vast experience accumulated by CNO, in addition to the principles, concepts and criteria of the Odebrecht Entrepreneurial Technology (TEO).

Odebrecht’s operations in the area of Engineering and Construction have earned it different market distinctions. The new companies are committed to continuing the work of CNO.
